Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

Next, experience the fascinating Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site boasting ancient temples, mosaics, and arches.
Returning to the present, we head to Fez, a pivotal city in the Imperial Cities circuit. Save in-depth exploration for the next day, allowing time for a glimpse of the city, shopping in lively souks, and exploring traditional handicraft stores.
Day 3: Fez – Visit
Fez occupies a prominent place in this tour of the imperial cities of Morocco. It is not only one of them, but also one of the most important cultural and intellectual centres of the country and of the entire Islamic world. Therefore, after breakfast in your riad, you will meet our official local guide to visit together the most interesting places of its historic centre, declared World Heritage by Unesco.
The walk will take you to emblematic monuments and buildings such as the Karaouine mosque and the university it houses. It is considered to be one of the oldest in the world. Or the Bou Inania and Attarine madrasahs, magnificent examples of Islamic art in the city. On this tailor-made route through the medina, squares such as Nejjarine or neighbourhoods such as the tanners’ quarter can also be visited.
In the afternoon, however, it might be a good idea to have a look at the places that have not been visited in the morning, such as the Jewish quarter (mellah) or the area around the royal palace and its golden gates. Another option is to go to one of the museums to discover its collection, such as the Borj Nord. And, of course, there is the discovery of the city’s crafts and gastronomy. In the evening, after an intense day of sightseeing, you will return to your riad in the medina to rest.
Day 4: Fez – Marrakech
On the fourth day of this tour of the imperial cities of Morocco, we will take a different approach. We will leave Fez for Marrakech, the most visited and admired city in the country. After breakfast, we will set off for the so-called “red city” on a journey that will take us the whole morning.

You will have the opportunity to visit places and monuments that are not part of the next day’s tour: the modern Gueliz district, the Majorelle gardens, the Marrakech museum, the Yves Saint Laurent museum… and many other possibilities.

Day 5: Marrakech
