After breakfast, leave Boutaghrar and enter one of the most adventurous sections of the journey.
Travel by off-road mountain tracks through isolated valleys and open landscapes used by nomadic communities in the High Atlas.
Depending on road and weather conditions, stop along the way to experience the quiet mountain scenery and learn more about traditional nomadic life.
Cross through remote mountain country before gradually descending toward the Dades Valley and Boumalne Dades.

Today is dedicated to experiencing the Dades Valley at a slower pace.

The route can be adapted according to your preferred walking level and the season.
During the day, when arranged, stop for a traditional lunch with a local family, offering a more personal connection with daily life in the valley.
After the hike, return to Boumalne Dades for a relaxed afternoon and evening.
Dades Valley → Mountain Villages → Scenic High Atlas Day
Enjoy another day in and around the Dades region, with time to explore more of the mountain landscapes without rushing.
Travel through nearby villages and scenic roads, stopping at viewpoints and lesser-visited areas around the valley.
Depending on your interests, the day can include additional walking, village visits or time to simply enjoy the landscapes and local atmosphere.
Keeping a second full day in Boumalne Dades makes this journey more comfortable and allows the mountain experience to feel deeper rather than rushed.
Boumalne Dades → Valley of Roses → Skoura → Ouarzazate
After breakfast, leave Boumalne Dades and begin the return journey toward Ouarzazate.
Travel through the Valley of Roses and enjoy scenic stops before continuing through Skoura Oasis.
Take time for final views of the palm groves and traditional kasbah landscapes before returning to Ouarzazate.
Your driver will drop you at your hotel, riad or Ouarzazate Airport.
