Casablanca – Marrakech Arrival & The Red City
Welcome to Morocco. Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, meet your private driver and begin your journey south toward Marrakech.
Depending on your arrival time, enjoy your first introduction to the Red City with a walk through the historic Medina, the traditional souks or the lively atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna.
Settle into your traditional riad and enjoy a relaxed first evening in Marrakech.
Marrakech Medina, Palaces & Traditional Souks
After breakfast, discover Marrakech with a private local guide.
Explore the historic Medina, visit the magnificent Bahia Palace, discover the Mellah, and admire the famous Koutoubia Mosque.
Continue through the traditional souks and artisan quarters, where you can discover Moroccan leatherwork, textiles, spices, ceramics and other local crafts. Finish your day around Jemaa el-Fna Square, the vibrant heart of Marrakech.
Marrakech – High Atlas – Aït Ben Haddou – Dades
Leave Marrakech and cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
Continue through traditional Berber villages and dramatic mountain landscapes toward Aït Ben Haddou, Morocco’s famous UNESCO-listed ksar.
Explore its ancient earthen buildings, narrow lanes and panoramic viewpoints before continuing through Ouarzazate and the palm-filled Skoura Oasis. Travel along the Valley of Roses and the Road of 1,000 Kasbahs before reaching the Dades Valley.
Dades Valley – Todgha Gorge – Merzouga
Continue through the spectacular landscapes of southeastern Morocco.
Travel through the Dades Valley before reaching Todgha Gorge, where enormous limestone cliffs rise dramatically above the valley. Enjoy a walk through the gorge and discover the surrounding palm groves and traditional villages.
Continue toward Erfoud and the changing landscapes of the Sahara before reaching Merzouga and the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. In the late afternoon, begin your camel trek across the dunes and watch the sunset over the Sahara.
Arrive at your luxury desert camp and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber music and an unforgettable evening beneath the stars.
Merzouga Sahara Desert Experience
Wake early to experience the spectacular sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes.
After breakfast, explore the Merzouga region and discover the landscapes and communities surrounding the Sahara.
Visit Khamlia, known for its Gnawa musical heritage, and explore the desert villages and oasis landscapes around Erg Chebbi.
Continue to Rissani, an historic trading town that has long been connected to the caravan routes of southern Morocco. Return to Merzouga for a relaxed afternoon surrounded by the dunes.
Merzouga – Draa Valley – Agdz
Leave Merzouga and continue west through the changing landscapes of southern Morocco.
Travel through the Draa Valley, one of Morocco’s great palm-filled oases, where thousands of date palms surround traditional villages and ancient kasbahs.
Continue toward Agdz, a peaceful oasis town located along the historic caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. Discover the surrounding palm groves and traditional architecture before settling into your accommodation.
Agdz – Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech
Continue toward Ouarzazate, often known as the gateway to the Sahara.
Travel through the spectacular landscapes of the southern High Atlas before crossing the mountains toward Marrakech.
Enjoy scenic viewpoints and traditional villages along the way. Arrive in Marrakech and settle into your riad. The evening is free to relax or enjoy one final evening in the Medina.
