itinerary:
Our driver will collect you from your hotel or agreed location and then we’ll head towards the Ourika Valley. The journey gradually ascends to the first hills of the High Atlas, where charming villages characteristic of the area can be found. It’s a serene location surrounded by nature, with only the singing of birds and the sound of streams breaking the silence.
After one hour of driving, we’ll arrive in the centre of the Ourika Valley. We’ll use our reliable vehicle to visit numerous nearby villages. The atmosphere in each village is charming and captivating. You’ll have the opportunity to visit the authentic souks, which are just as genuine as those in Marrakech but with fewer tourists. The souks play a significant role in local markets.
We have other activities planned for the day, such as visiting a typical house in the area, sampling traditional Moorish tea, or enjoying a great meal by the river bank. Our driver-guide will come with you and suggest where to go.
Later in the afternoon, we will begin our journey back to Marrakech, as life in the small settlements in the valley starts to wind down. You will have the opportunity to have dinner and rest comfortably upon returning.
