3-Day Marrakech to Dades Private Tour Kasbahs, Nomads & Hidden Valleys

Begin your 3-day Marrakech to Dades private tour with a morning departure from Marrakech, travelling south toward the spectacular High Atlas Mountains.

Cross the mountains along one of Morocco’s most dramatic routes, with time for panoramic stops overlooking mountain landscapes, traditional villages and winding roads through the High Atlas.

Continue toward Aït Ben Haddou, the famous fortified ksar and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take time to walk through its earthen lanes and discover one of southern Morocco’s most remarkable examples of traditional fortified architecture.

After exploring Aït Ben Haddou and enjoying time for lunch, continue toward Ouarzazate, often known as Morocco’s gateway to the south.

From Ouarzazate, follow the route east toward Skoura, where extensive palm groves, gardens, traditional villages and historic kasbahs create one of the most beautiful oasis landscapes in southern Morocco.

Arrive in Skoura in the afternoon and settle into your selected accommodation among the oasis for a relaxed first evening.

After breakfast, begin the final day with more time discovering the spectacular Dades Gorges before starting your journey back toward Marrakech.

Travel along the famous winding mountain road and stop at selected Dades viewpoints, where dramatic rock formations and deep valley landscapes create some of the most memorable scenery of the journey.

Continue west through the Dades Valley, passing traditional villages, cultivated fields, historic kasbahs and the changing landscapes of southern Morocco.

Follow the route through the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, travelling back through the region of Kelaat M’Gouna, Skoura and toward Ouarzazate.

Depending on your interests and the day’s timing, there can be time for an additional stop around Ouarzazate before continuing toward the High Atlas Mountains.

Cross the High Atlas Mountains once again, with selected scenic stops as the landscapes change from Morocco’s southern valleys and rocky plateaus back toward the Marrakech side of the mountains.

Arrive in Marrakech in the evening, where your private driver will take you to your riad, hotel or agreed drop-off point.
