Travel through the Cedar Forest, where you may encounter the local Barbary macaques, then continue across the Middle Atlas toward Midelt, known for its mountain scenery and apple-growing region.
Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga Sahara Desert
Continue south toward the Sahara, with the landscape gradually changing from mountains to desert.
Travel through the spectacular Ziz Valley, where green palm oases contrast with the surrounding rocky landscape.
Continue through Erfoud toward Merzouga and the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Continue toward Tinghir and the magnificent Todgha Gorge, where enormous limestone cliffs rise above a beautiful palm-filled oasis.
