Casablanca to Marrakech
Welcome to Morocco. Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, meet your private English-speaking driver and begin your journey to Marrakech.
Travel to the famous Red City, where you will check into your traditional riad in the heart of the Medina. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy your first introduction to Marrakech with a walk through the old Medina, a visit to the nearby souks or an evening at the lively Jemaa el-Fna Square.
Marrakech Medina
After breakfast, discover Marrakech with a private local guide.
Explore the historic Medina, the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs and the traditional souks and artisan quarters.
Continue to Jemaa el-Fna Square, the vibrant heart of Marrakech, where storytellers, musicians, food stalls and local vendors bring the square to life.
The afternoon is free to explore more of Marrakech at your own pace. Visit the Majorelle Garden, El Badi Palace or simply enjoy the atmosphere of the old city.
Marrakech Through Its Cuisine
Enjoy a more relaxed day in Marrakech and experience Moroccan culture through its cuisine.
Take part in a traditional Moroccan cooking workshop, where you will learn how to prepare a classic Moroccan dish such as a tagine using local ingredients and traditional techniques.
After the cooking experience, enjoy free time to discover more of Marrakech. Explore the Medina and souks, visit a traditional hammam or simply relax at your riad.
Marrakech to Taroudant
Leave Marrakech and travel south through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Test Pass.
The road offers impressive views of mountain valleys, traditional Berber villages and remote landscapes before descending toward the Souss Valley.
Continue to Taroudant, known as the “Little Marrakech” for its red ochre walls, traditional souks and historic atmosphere.
Explore the old Medina and walk along the impressive city walls before settling into your traditional accommodation.
Taroudant to Tafraoute
After breakfast, leave Taroudant and continue toward the beautiful Anti-Atlas Mountains.
Travel through remote mountain landscapes and traditional Berber villages toward Tafraoute, one of southern Morocco’s most charming mountain towns.
Along the way, discover the unusual Painted Rocks of Tafraoute and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the surrounding granite mountains.
Tafraoute & Ameln Valley
Today, discover Tafraoute and the Ameln Valley with a local guide.
Explore the town and learn about the history, traditions and Berber culture of the Anti-Atlas region.
Continue into the Ameln Valley, surrounded by dramatic granite peaks and traditional villages. Enjoy a scenic walk or moderate hike through the valley, passing palm trees, cultivated fields and traditional Berber homes.
Aït Mansour Gorge to Icht
Leave Tafraoute and continue south through the spectacular landscapes of the Anti-Atlas Mountains.
Discover the beautiful Aït Mansour Gorge, where dramatic granite cliffs surround a lush palm oasis. Enjoy a walk through the gorge and experience the contrast between the rugged mountains and green vegetation of the valley.
Continue through remote Berber villages and scenic mountain landscapes toward Icht, a peaceful oasis village located on the edge of the desert.
Icht to Tata
After breakfast, continue your journey from Icht to Tata, traveling through the remote landscapes of southern Morocco.
Enjoy the changing scenery as the Anti-Atlas mountains gradually give way to dry valleys, desert landscapes and palm-filled oases.
Arrive in Tata, a traditional southern Moroccan town surrounded by palm groves and historic villages. Explore the local area and discover the peaceful atmosphere and authentic lifestyle of this lesser-visited region.
Discovering the Tata Oasis
Enjoy a relaxed day discovering the area around Tata.
Explore the palm-filled oasis, traditional villages and historic ksour, and take time to experience the authentic atmosphere of southern Morocco away from the main tourist routes.
The day can also be adapted for a short local walk or cultural visit, depending on your interests.
Return to Tata for a peaceful evening and enjoy your final night in the oasis before continuing toward the desert.
Tata to Foum Zguid
Leave Tata and continue toward Foum Zguid, one of the main gateways to Morocco’s remote desert landscapes.
The journey takes you through the dramatic landscapes of Jbel Bani, where the Anti-Atlas gradually gives way to the Sahara.
Arrive in Foum Zguid and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this traditional desert town.
Into the Sahara Erg Chigaga
Today begins your unforgettable Erg Chigaga desert adventure.
Leave Foum Zguid and travel by 4×4 across the desert, passing remote landscapes, dry valleys, desert plateaus and traditional nomadic areas before reaching the magnificent dunes of Erg Chigaga.
Arrive at your luxury desert camp surrounded by the vast Sahara.
Enjoy traditional Moroccan tea, a delicious desert dinner and an evening of Berber music beneath the stars.
Erg Chigaga to Zagora
Wake up to the peaceful beauty of the Sahara and enjoy the sunrise over the Erg Chigaga dunes.
After breakfast, experience a traditional camel ride through the desert, crossing the golden dunes and enjoying the silence of the Sahara.
Continue by 4×4 toward Zagora, traveling through desert landscapes and the southern oasis region.
Arrive in Zagora, famous for its date palms, traditional architecture and historic connection with the ancient caravan routes.
Zagora & Tamegroute
Today, discover Tamegroute, one of Morocco’s most famous traditional pottery centers.
Visit the local pottery workshops and discover the distinctive green-glazed pottery that has made Tamegroute famous throughout Morocco.
Enjoy a hands-on pottery workshop and learn about the traditional techniques used by local artisans.
You can also discover the historic religious and cultural heritage of Tamegroute before returning to Zagora.
Zagora to Agdz
Continue north through the magnificent Draa Valley, one of Morocco’s largest palm oases.
Travel through endless palm groves, traditional villages and ancient kasbahs before reaching Agdz.
Visit the historic Tamnougalt Kasbah, an impressive fortified village that once played an important role along the caravan route between Marrakech and the Sahara.
Continue exploring the surrounding oasis before settling into your accommodation in Agdz.
Agdz to Marrakech
Begin your final scenic journey toward Marrakech.
Visit Aït Ben Haddou, Morocco’s famous UNESCO-listed ksar and one of the most impressive examples of traditional earthen architecture in the country.
Walk through its ancient lanes and enjoy panoramic views over the surrounding landscape.
Continue through the High Atlas toward Telouet, where you can visit the historic Kasbah of the Glaoui, once an important residence of the powerful El Glaoui family.
Continue across the mountains and return to Marrakech for your final evening in Morocco.
Marrakech to Casablanca Airport
Enjoy your final breakfast in Morocco and some free time in Marrakech before your departure.
Depending on your flight schedule, take a final walk through the Medina, explore the souks or relax at your riad.
Your private driver will then transfer you to Casablanca Airport for your flight home — taking with you sixteen days of landscapes, culture, hospitality and unforgettable memories.
