After breakfast, leave Marrakech behind and journey through the tranquil Atlas Mountains, escaping the city’s hustle and discovering the peaceful landscapes and traditional villages of southern Morocco.

Continue towards the legendary Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified citadel of earthen dwellings enclosed by impressive walls. Once home to wealthy families, the village is now inhabited by only a few families living a simple lifestyle. Ait Ben Haddou is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has also been used as a location for famous international films.

From the top of the ancient village, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views before continuing through the picturesque Valley of Roses towards the charming village of Boutaghrar.

Get ready for a true off-road adventure. Accompanied by local music, your driver will navigate rocky trails leading towards caves inhabited by nomadic Berber people. Meet the local families, discover their customs and lifestyle, and enjoy a cup of Berber mint tea inside their cave.

You will have the opportunity to learn a few words of Berber, spend time with the children, and participate in preparing and enjoying a traditional local dish. This authentic encounter offers a unique insight into a way of life rarely experienced by visitors.

Spend the night in a cave or, if you wish, under the open sky and experience the peaceful atmosphere of the Moroccan countryside.

Start your morning with the serene sounds of sheep and goats near the cave, followed by a traditional Berber breakfast. Bid farewell to your desert family and continue your journey towards the Sahara.

Travel through the dramatic Dades Gorges and admire the spectacular rock formations before continuing towards the lush landscapes of Tinerhir and the impressive Todra Gorges. Discover the heritage and traditions of the Berber communities along the way.

Continue through the villages and landscapes of southern Morocco, with a stop in Tourog where you can experience traditional Berber culture and, if you wish, dress in traditional clothing.

Continue towards Erfoud before reaching the majestic Sahara Desert of Merzouga. At around 4 PM, arrive at Hassi Labied, the first settlement beside the Erg Chebbi desert.

Leave the 4×4 behind and begin a memorable camel excursion across the golden dunes. The approximately two-hour journey takes you through the striking colors and peaceful atmosphere of the Sahara, culminating in a spectacular sunset over the dunes.

Your camel trek will take you to an enchanting desert camp equipped with comfortable tents, blankets, and everything needed for your overnight experience. Upon arrival, your guide will demonstrate the traditional art of preparing Berber tea before you enjoy a local dessert and dinner.

Spend an unforgettable night beneath a starry desert sky, surrounded by the silence and beauty of the Sahara.

Experience the sense of peace that can only be found in a desert like this. At around 6 o’clock in the morning, your guide will wake you and accompany you to a high dune where you can watch the sunrise over the golden Erg Chebbi dunes.

After breakfast, return to town by camelback and take some time to refresh at a hotel before beginning your journey back towards Marrakech.

Continue through the changing landscapes of southern Morocco, enjoying scenic stops along the way and taking time to admire breathtaking panoramic views.

Stop for lunch in Kalaa before continuing the journey towards Marrakech. The road provides a final opportunity to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and peaceful atmosphere of the Moroccan countryside.

Arrive at your Marrakech hotel or riad in the late afternoon, bringing your memorable desert adventure to a close.
