After breakfast, your private journey begins as you leave Marrakech behind and travel through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest mountain road in Morocco. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking panoramic viewpoints overlooking Berber villages and dramatic mountain landscapes.

Continue towards the legendary UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Ben Haddou, Morocco’s most famous fortified ksar. Wander through its ancient earthen streets, admire centuries-old kasbahs, and discover why this remarkable village has served as the backdrop for countless international films and television productions.

Your journey continues through Ouarzazate, Skoura Oasis, and the fragrant Valley of Roses before reaching the beautiful Dades Valley. Surrounded by spectacular red rock formations, lush gardens, and traditional kasbahs, this peaceful valley offers one of Morocco’s most breathtaking landscapes.

Arrive in Boumalne Dades during the evening, where a warm Berber welcome awaits you at your charming kasbah-style accommodation. Relax over dinner and prepare for tomorrow’s unforgettable hiking adventure through the magnificent Dades Gorge.

Wake up surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the Dades Valley before beginning one of the most rewarding experiences of your Moroccan adventure. After breakfast, a short drive brings you to the starting point of today’s guided hike through the spectacular Dades Gorge.

Following quiet mountain paths, you will cross traditional Berber villages where everyday life continues much as it has for generations. Friendly locals greet visitors with warm smiles as you continue towards the remarkable Monkey Fingers Canyon, famous for its dramatic rock formations sculpted by nature over thousands of years.

Continue your walk through fertile gardens, palm groves and cultivated fields before arriving at the home of a welcoming Berber family. Here you will enjoy a delicious homemade lunch, discover local traditions and experience genuine Moroccan hospitality in an authentic family setting.

During the afternoon, visit the lively town market where local farmers and artisans gather before continuing to one of the valley’s finest panoramic viewpoints. As the sun begins to set, admire the winding road climbing through the gorge while the surrounding cliffs glow with spectacular shades of red and gold.

Return to your charming kasbah for dinner and another peaceful night in the heart of the magnificent Dades Valley.

After breakfast, your journey continues towards the magnificent Sahara Desert. Leaving the dramatic cliffs of the Dades Valley behind, you travel through a series of authentic Berber villages, palm groves and ever-changing desert landscapes that reveal the true beauty of southern Morocco.

Your first stop is the peaceful village of Touroug, where you can discover everyday Berber life and, with permission from the local people, capture memorable portraits that reflect the warmth and hospitality of the region.

Continue to explore one of Morocco’s fascinating underground irrigation systems, known as the Khatarat (Khettara). These ancient water channels have supplied oasis villages for centuries and remain one of the country’s most remarkable engineering achievements.

Arriving in Erfoud, famous for its fossil workshops and desert culture, enjoy a traditional Berber pizza for lunch before continuing towards the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.

In Merzouga, your camel caravan awaits. Ride across the endless sand dunes as the sun slowly sets, painting the Sahara with spectacular shades of gold, orange and crimson. This magical experience is one of the unforgettable highlights of your Moroccan adventure.

Arrive at your luxury desert camp where you will be welcomed with Moroccan tea before enjoying a delicious dinner beneath the stars. The evening continues with traditional Berber music around the campfire before spending the night surrounded by the silence of the Sahara Desert.

Wake early to witness one final sunrise over the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi before enjoying breakfast at the camp. Leaving the Sahara behind, today’s journey follows ancient caravan routes towards the historic town of Rissani, once the commercial heart of the Tafilalt Oasis.

Explore the vibrant traditional souks where merchants continue centuries-old trading traditions. Wander through colourful spice stalls, artisan workshops and the famous donkey parking area, a unique feature that reflects everyday life in southern Morocco. If your visit coincides with market day, you’ll also experience the lively livestock market where local families gather from surrounding villages.

Before leaving Rissani, enjoy an authentic Berber pizza or a freshly prepared barbecue using ingredients purchased directly from the local market. Accompanied by traditional Moroccan mint tea, this delicious lunch offers another genuine cultural experience.

Continue west through the breathtaking Draa Valley, famous for its endless palm groves, fortified villages and ancient kasbahs. This remarkable route is often called the Road of One Thousand Kasbahs, where every bend reveals spectacular desert scenery and impressive mud-brick architecture.

Arrive in the peaceful oasis town of Agdz during the evening, where your charming ecolodge welcomes you for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by palm trees and the tranquil beauty of the Draa Valley.

After breakfast, we leave the peaceful oasis of Agdz and travel north through the spectacular landscapes of southern Morocco. Our first stop is the beautiful Cascade Tizgui, a hidden waterfall surrounded by dramatic cliffs that offers a refreshing break before continuing the journey.

We continue to the famous city of Ouarzazate, often called the Gateway to the Sahara. Known for its impressive kasbahs and world-famous film studios, the city has appeared in numerous international productions including Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven and Game of Thrones.

After lunch, the journey continues through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, enjoy panoramic viewpoints, traditional Berber villages and spectacular mountain scenery as we cross one of Morocco’s most beautiful roads back towards Marrakech.

During the afternoon we descend into the plains surrounding the Red City, arriving in Marrakech where you’ll check back into your elegant riad. The remainder of the evening is yours to relax or enjoy the lively atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna Square.

After breakfast, meet your local guide for a fascinating journey through Marrakech, one of Morocco’s four Imperial Cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Rich in history, architecture and culture, Marrakech offers an unforgettable blend of ancient traditions and modern Moroccan life.

Begin with the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque, whose elegant 12th-century minaret dominates the city skyline and inspired famous monuments including the Giralda of Seville. Continue to the beautifully decorated Bahia Palace, an architectural masterpiece showcasing exquisite Moroccan craftsmanship.

Discover the historic Ben Youssef Madrasa, once one of North Africa’s most prestigious Islamic schools, before visiting the peaceful Saadian Tombs, hidden for centuries before being rediscovered in 1917.

Wander through the colourful souks where local artisans create leather goods, carpets, ceramics, jewellery and traditional handicrafts using techniques passed down through generations. Your guide will introduce you to the stories, traditions and daily life of the medina.

End the day in the legendary Jemaa el-Fna Square, where storytellers, musicians, food stalls and street performers create one of the most vibrant atmospheres in Morocco. Return to your riad for your final evening in Marrakech.
