This eight-day private journey connects the cultural heritage of Fes with some of Morocco’s most spectacular mountain, desert and valley landscapes.

Travel through Ifrane and the Middle Atlas before descending through the Ziz Valley to Merzouga and the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Continue through Todgha Gorge and spend two nights in the Dades Valley, including a guided hike and traditional family lunch, before following the Road of 1,000 Kasbahs toward Aït Ben Haddou and Marrakech.

Stop in Ifrane, known for its European-style architecture and surrounding cedar forests, before continuing through the mountain landscapes.

Travel through the Cedar Forest, where you may encounter local Barbary macaques, then continue across the Middle Atlas toward Midelt, known for its mountain scenery and apple-growing region.

Enjoy a guided hike through the Dades Valley, following local paths through palm groves, cultivated fields, traditional villages and dramatic rock formations.

Continue toward the famous Monkey Fingers, where spectacular sandstone formations have been naturally sculpted over thousands of years.

During the hike, meet a local Berber family and enjoy a traditional homemade lunch in their family home.

This authentic experience gives you the opportunity to connect with local people and discover traditional life in the Dades Valley beyond the main tourist routes.

Return to your kasbah or riad and enjoy a relaxed evening.

Continue to Ouarzazate, the gateway to Morocco’s southern valleys, before visiting Aït Ben Haddou, the spectacular UNESCO-listed ksar.

Walk through its ancient lanes and discover its traditional earthen architecture, historic kasbahs and panoramic views.
