Explore Fez’s UNESCO-listed medina with an English-speaking guide. Step into one of Morocco’s most fascinating historic cities and discover the remarkable heritage preserved within its ancient walls.

Visit iconic sites including the Karaouine Mosque, Bou Inania and Attarine Madrasas, Nejjarine Square, and the traditional tanners’ district. Your guide will introduce you to the history, architecture, craftsmanship, and traditions that have shaped Fez for centuries.

The afternoon is free for further exploration. Discover the Mellah, admire the Royal Palace area, browse traditional crafts, or simply wander through the atmospheric streets of the medina.

Depart Fez and begin your journey south through the Middle Atlas Mountains towards the Sahara. The route introduces you to some of Morocco’s most dramatic changes in landscape, from green mountain forests to vast desert scenery.

Your first stop is Ifrane, known as the “Moroccan Switzerland,” celebrated for its greenery, distinctive architecture, and alpine atmosphere. Continue to Ifrane National Park, home to Barbary macaques and the famous cedar forests.

Descending through the Middle Atlas, the landscape gradually becomes more arid. Follow the Ziz Valley towards Erfoud, a destination famous for its fossil discoveries and geological treasures.

Continue to Merzouga, where the road meets the sands of the Sahara. Enjoy a camel ride through the iconic Erg Chebbi dunes before arriving at your desert camp. As night falls, settle beneath a spectacular canopy of stars and experience the silence of the Sahara.

Wake before sunrise to witness the first light spreading across the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast at the camp, return towards Merzouga by camel or vehicle.

Continue to Rissani, a historic town known for its traditional medina and lively local market. From here, the journey continues through palm groves and Berber villages towards the spectacular Todra Gorges.

The towering limestone walls of Todra create one of Morocco’s most impressive natural landscapes. Continue through the Valley of the Roses and along the famous Thousand Kasbahs route before arriving in the Dades Valley.

Leave the Dades Valley and travel through the Valley of the Roses, surrounded by traditional villages, kasbahs, palm groves, and the dramatic landscapes of southern Morocco.

Continue to Ouarzazate, the gateway between the desert and the High Atlas. Discover the historic Kasbah Taourirt and learn about the region’s fascinating architectural and cinematic heritage.

Continue to Ait Ben Haddou, the iconic fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its earthen architecture and panoramic views before continuing across the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass.

Descend through the High Atlas mountain villages towards Marrakech, where you will spend the evening discovering the atmosphere of the Red City.

Enjoy a relaxed day in Marrakech after your journey from the Sahara. The afternoon is yours to discover the city according to your own interests and pace.

Explore museums and gardens, wander through the atmospheric medina, browse the souks, discover local craftsmanship, or simply take time to enjoy the city’s celebrated gastronomy and cultural atmosphere.

Return to your central riad in the evening and enjoy a peaceful final night in Marrakech.

On your final day, enjoy breakfast at your medina riad and make the most of your remaining time according to your departure schedule.

If time allows, take a final stroll through the souks, enjoy some last-minute shopping, or simply pause and take in the atmosphere of Marrakech before your departure.

At the appropriate time, your private transfer will take you to the airport, marking the end of your journey through Morocco.
