After breakfast at your riad in Rabat, set off to discover some of Morocco’s most remarkable historic sites.

Our first stop is Meknes, another imperial city and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Many of the city’s historic monuments recall Sultan Moulay Ismail, who made Meknes his capital at the end of the 17th century.

Enjoy a free stroll through Meknes before continuing to Volubilis, an impressive Roman archaeological site filled with ancient temples, columns, mosaics, arches and other fascinating remains.

In the afternoon, continue to Fez, another imperial city and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take some time to discover the city center, explore lively souks and traditional handicraft stores before relaxing in your riad in the medina.

On the fourth day of your Imperial Cities tour, leave Fez behind and travel toward Marrakech, Morocco’s famous “Red City.”

After breakfast, begin the journey south. The drive takes much of the morning, offering a chance to relax and watch the changing Moroccan landscapes along the way.

On arrival in Marrakech, enjoy free time to take your first walk around the city and begin discovering its vibrant atmosphere.

You may explore the modern Gueliz district, visit the Majorelle Gardens, Marrakech Museum or Yves Saint Laurent Museum, depending on your interests.
