Across the High Atlas to the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.
From your hotel in Marrakech, we travel into the High Atlas Mountains, crossing high peaks and panoramic landscapes while passing through traditional Berber villages. The road takes us over the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2,260 m), often snow-capped in winter, with opportunities to pause for photos or a café break.
Our journey continues with a visit to Telouet Kasbah, once an important stop on the caravan route linking the Sahara with Marrakech.
Lunch will be enjoyed in Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Morocco’s most iconic kasbahs, famous for its adobe architecture and as a filming location for productions such as Game of Thrones.
After exploring this unique fortress, we continue to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” for a short stop by its film studios. We then head towards Skoura, where we spend the night surrounded by palm groves and the charm of the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.

Hiking tour through Gorge of Dades. You will start at Ait Arbi and then slowly hike through the Monkey’s Fingers canyon, passing through nature and narrow ravines while enjoying wonderful views up to the gorges.
Our local guide will help to explain the first steps of the nomad caravan coming from behind the mountains.

Leaving the Dades Valley, we reach Tineghir, exploring the vast palm oasis and the stunning Todra Gorge—a must-see in the region.
We continue toward the Sahara, passing beautiful Kasbahs and stopping at Erfoud to visit its famous Fossil Museum, featured in David Attenborough’s BBC series.
After a short drive, we enjoy local tea at the base of the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. Then, embark on a 45-minute trek by camel or 4×4 into the desert, guided by a nomadic driver, as the sunset paints the dunes in breathtaking colors.
The journey ends at a luxurious desert camp with nomad tents, where you can relax, savor dinner, listen to traditional music around the fire, or wander the dunes under a star-filled sky.

The day begins with a special awakening as we witness a breathtaking sunrise, enveloped in the tranquility unique to the desert.
Our return journey can be taken by camel or via off-road vehicle, depending on your preference. Along the way, we’ll visit nomadic families living behind the dunes, offering a rare glimpse into their traditional way of life.
Next, we head to Khamlia, where the rhythm of African Gnaoua music will captivate you. For lunch, enjoy an authentic Berber pizza before we explore Merzouga city and visit the serene garden of Hassi Labied.
In the afternoon, we’ll check into our hotel, where you can unwind by the pool. As the sun sets, a short walk to the nearest dune in the village offers the perfect vantage point to admire the beauty of the desert sunset.
